First of all a little bit of lore.
I first started using linux in 2021 with Zorin OS and never looked back. Linux just fitted my needs perfectly, however, as I explored the linux ecosystem I discovered there was a lot of fragmentation and duplicated work (XFCE, Mate or all the init systems, for those who know), and I decided to try to avoid that problem as much as possible, using wayland or flatpaks for example, but then I remembered Haiku, an Operating Systems based/inspired on BeOS, and unlike any linux distro or BSD system, all the work is done by the same team, so every single component of the system is tightly integrated, and unlike the linux kernel, Haiku is specialised in desktop (and laptop) computers. I've installed it on my main PC and now I'm using it as a daily driver!
Anyway, enough yapping about OSes, here's a link!
